Steve Aoki, some love him, some hate him, and I can certainly see why someone might go either way. He's awfully loud and in your face, but at the same time he knows how to keep the party going. This was definitely the case when he stopped here in Tucson at the Rialto theater. It was non-stop electronica from 7pm all the way to almost 2am. I've been the Rialto numerous times before, and its never been as loud as it was when Aoki was there. A total of five DJ acts rocked the theater that night; Michael Abate , DJ Spintelect and Boys Noize's latest finding DameFifty5, UofA alumni DJ Eye, LA Native Marshall Barnes and of course, Steve Aoki himself. Each act performed for at least an hour, all together making the whole concert last nearly 7 hours. I spent most of my time running around taking pictures, ending up with just over 1400 shots to go through. I had an absolute blast!
